The Freeze Free Hose is a revolutionary heated hose. Plugs into your own GFCI protected extension cord to prevent freezing and provide water flow in below freezing temperature. Electric "cuff" protects electrical plug from weather damage and meets NSF-61 Annex G requirements ensuring you this is a safe product for your outdoor applications. Other frost free hoses keep constant heat no matter what the outside temperature. This frost free hose turns on when air temperature reaches 35°F , turns off when air temperature reaches 48°F – saving energy, money and extending the longevity of the hose (25' hose draws 200 watts [when on] 50' hose draws 400 watts [when on]). The Freeze Free Hose is a GatorHyde Drinking Water Safe Hose with 120VAC that is made from 50% pre-consumer recycled materials. The perfect heated water hose for RV, agricultural, oil fields, watering livestock/kennels and other commercial/residential watering applications in below freezing temperatures. Made in the USA.
