Over 37 years ago my Father started a hose business in the Northwest with his brother and an uncle.  Their business philosophy was to provide quality hose products at competitive prices with great customer service.  That business has grown and expanded over the years, but the founding philosophy is still the same – give your customer quality products at competitive prices.  Eight years ago my Father saw a need in the market for top of the line air and garden hose products.  He and one of my brothers embarked on manufacturing these products in the Northwest.  As I tried these products personally I recognized their superior quality.  I knew the lightweight yet durable and easy to use features would be something that would appeal to contractor’s and homeowners alike.  I also recognized that there were no comparable products available on the market.  I started paying attention to the garden hoses that were offered at my local hardware and home improvement stores.  I soon realized there was nothing that could compare to the quality and performance of the products my family was producing.   In 2004 I started selling Mean Green Garden hose on the internet and was surprised by the overwhelming success and interest in this product.  One of the reasons for our exceptional growth is that our customers share with their friends and family how much they love our garden hose.   In 2008 my brother developed GatorHyde garden hose.  GatorHyde has all the same features as Mean Green except it has Nickel plated ends to make it drinking water safe.  GatorHyde also is a “green” garden hose because the outside cover on the hose is made with recycled polyurethane  - thus GatorHyde is made with 50% recycled materials.  The Garden Hose Store & More was launched to provide these products to contractors and homeowners who are looking for premium easy to use garden hose, including top of the line drinking water safe garden hose,  metal garden hose reels and garden hose products.
